The Captain sighs and breathes anew
As he looks upon the ocean blue
Fly to the decks, we must prepare
The shouts of battle in the air
The water rises higher and higher
Our bones break and our muscles tire
The captain sings like a choir
"Man the cannons boys, its time to fire!"
Man the cannons secure the sails
This be the day that we prevail
Bodies flying, Our lives are lost
Defend the ship at any cost
The water rises higher and higher
Our bones break and our muscles tire
The captain sings like a choir
"Man the cannon boys, its time to fire!"
Bows are breaking with bending steel
As the captain comforts his trembling wheel
The captain orders the men's retreat
But we have never known defeat
The bow is broken the decks are smashed
The ship is taking water fast
We don't know how longthe ship will hold
Bloodied water around the ship
Bodies fallen from the steel's tip
The enemy will never take our gold!
Songs are sung and tales are told
How we raped their land
and stole their gold
We are sailing with blood red eyes
For we are pirates in disguise
The water rises higher and higher
Our bones break and our muscles tire
The captain sings like a choir
"Man the cannons boys, its time to fire!"
FIRE!

I was always intrigued by this group's choice of album covers, it isn't every day that you see high quality space photos in this genre despite the rise of "cosmic" black metal. But the music blew me away, this sounds like Austere took the atmospheric spacey route. (I will assume it's a coincidence that both bands are Australian) porcelainheart-
